Old Nick, an ex-gunfighter, had once vowed to let the world look after itself. That is until young horticulturist and travelling preacher Roan Fletcher found that old book lying by the roadside. Now Torbern is about to experience the power one book can hold over the mind’s of men.
In the frigid wasteland of Torbern, where farmers tend to their orchards in huge domes surrounded by black boulders, there’s something else buried in the earth.
